The Website is primarily intended for the use of people residing in India above the age of 18 years. The courses MHFAI offers are mainly relevant and suited to the Indian situation.

You or Your shall refer to individuals or entities who partake in the registration process and access its Website. If You are an individual who represents an entity and its affiliates, You represent that You have the authority to bind such entity and affiliates to these Terms and Conditions.
MHFA, MHFAI, We, or Our, or Us refers to Mental Health First Aid India and its website (https://www.mhfaindia.com/).
Service or Services refer to training and any form of awareness in any format as well as expertise or consultancy that We offer through the Website.
Account refers to Your user account to access MHFAI services through the Website.
Personally identifiable information (PII) is information, such as Your name, personal/office address, telephone number, password, username, education details, medical information, gender, ethnicity, company, company name, position, age, e-mail, any information on the feedback forms or research You have participated, the opinion given on Our site blogs/ research and news, where You are identifiable directly or indirectly by such reference.

MHFAI reserves the right to review and modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
MHFAI has the sole discretion to change, delete, or modify the contents of this Website.

4. Services and Fees
MHFAI publishes its Services and fee structure on the Website. We have the sole discretion to update or discontinue any of Our Services without notice, including revising the service fee structure from time to time by publishing it on the Website.
5. Your Accounts and Purchasing Services via the Website
To purchase any of the Services online, You must register for an Account with Us through the Website. You need to complete the registration process by providing Your Personally Identifiable Information as prompted by the registration form. You are responsible for Your Account, and it is Your responsibility to alert MHFAI if You suspect unauthorized use of Your Account or any breach of security as soon as You become aware of the security breach.
In all cases, if you are an individual, You need to pay MHFAI before the start of the Service. For corporate bookings, You can either pay online or directly to the MHFA account. MHFAI services will be accessible after the successful payment. or as per the discretion of MHFAI.
6. Online Payments
You can order and purchase the courses using the secured payment link provided on the Website. MHFAI reserves the right to decline the acceptance of an online payment if your account is in default for any reason.
Before You make online payments to avail of any Services MHFAI offers, do note:
- You can make payments with a Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
- When You make online payments MHFAI deems that You are authorized to use these card or net banking credentials and has enough credit is available at Your disposal.
- Before You make online payments, We recommend You make the necessary inquiries with the Credit Card or the Debit Card service provider (Payment Service Provider) i.e., with the respective Bank regarding the charges or fees payable against the Credit/Debit card. MHFAI course fee is not inclusive of any processing fee any Service Provider may charge You for their services.
- At the time of registering or booking Our Services, when You supply the Credit Card information, it is processed by the payment gateway of the Payment Service Provider and MHFAI does not store Your Card information at any time. Do ensure to provide correct and valid Debit/Credit card details. We recommend You take and retain a screenshot/copy of the transaction for record-keeping purposes, which might assist in resolving any disputes.
- The Website is secure and Your online payments entered through the payment gateway are secured by 128-bit encryption. Though enough precautions are taken, when You register, We deem that You agree, understand, and confirm that Your Personally Identifiable Information including without limitation, details relating to Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking transmitted over the internet may be susceptible to misuse, hacking, theft, and/or fraud and that MHFAI has no control over such matters. MHFAI, including its employees or affiliates, do not accept or assume any liability in the event of such unauthorized interception, hacking, or other unauthorized access to information provided by a user of the Services.
- If You register in this system and make payment through different methods otherwise, like corporate payments, You must sign a Training Services Agreement with MHFAI.
- We will issue Your tax invoice, setting out all relevant taxes per the rules in place.
7. Rescheduling or canceling the Courses
If you are an individual, you may reschedule or cancel the courses or claim a refund for training booked and paid online based on Our Cancellation and Refund Policy. If you are a corporate entity, service cancellation, and refund will be managed as per our Cancellation and Refund Policy. Please see Our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
MHFAI holds all rights to the contents of this Website. The Mental Health First Aid term is copyrighted to MHFA International. MHFA India is authorized to use them in the Indian Territory.
You shall not use, reproduce, or duplicate the contents of this Website, including the third-party links, in whole or in part without the prior written consent of MHFAI. Non-compliance shall attract legal consequences including damages. You may access Our Intellectual Property rights document here.
9. Privacy Policy

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India and the competent courts at Chennai shall have exclusive jurisdiction
12. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising about these Terms and Conditions will be submitted to a sole arbitrator appointed by MHFAI under the provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, and rules framed there under. The venue of Arbitration shall be Chennai.
13. Disclaimer
You agree that You will not hold MHFAI or any of its employees for any loss or damages arising from Your use of, or reliance upon the information contained on the Website, or any failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions where such failure is due to circumstance beyond MHFAI's reasonable control.
Under no circumstances shall MHFAI and/or the Payment Service Providers, its employees, directors, and its third-party agents involved in processing, delivering, or managing the Services, be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever, including punitive or exemplary arising out of or in any way connected with the provision of or any inadequacy or deficiency in the provision of the Services or resulting from unauthorized access or alteration of transmissions of data or arising from suspension or termination of the Service.
The content and the courses offered on the Website are to inform you about the MHFAI program in India and to aid You ( the one who has taken any MHFA training to apply Mental Health First Aider skills and knowledge. The information provided in this course is exclusively for use in providing Mental Health First Aid. It is not intended to be and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional mental health advice. Certified people are called Mental Health First Aiders.
Certification or accreditation as a Mental Health First Aider does not authorize or capacitate any First Aider to diagnose or treat mental health conditions, provide counseling, or therapy, prescribe any medication or provide training, or act as an expert on the mental health field.
