Erinda Shah is the Founder and the Managing Director of MHFA India. She has completed her MASW and carries 18 years of experience in development field. She has been part of the national reform in decentralization and deinstitutionalization of mental health system in Albania, a WHO and Government of Albania initiative. For almost a decade, she has been engaged with various organization in India like UNICEF, ActionAid, The Banyan which has enriched her understanding on social issues in the country. She enjoys working on human rights, especially children.
Kaushik Palicha is the Co-founder and Director of MHFA India. He is a third generation businessman and is on the management board of Ram Charan – a group with diverse interests in Distribution, Manufacturing, Food, Logisitcs & Research. MHFA India establishment is exclusively funded by Ram Charan, registered in the United States, functioning from New York, to enable the right environment for shift of knowledge and expertise, that has proved to have a positive changing impact in the life of society and country on the whole.

Dr. Alphonsa is a young Psychiatric Social Worker from NIMHANS who brings a lot of strength to the program with her fine research skills and willingness to embrace new ventures in the field of mental health.
Dr. Gireesh Kumar is a dynamic clinical researcher and sociologist. He completed his masters in public Health with scholarship from Queens University Belfast. He has previously worked in government and private health care sectors before travelling to the United Kingdom to pursue his masters. He brings to our organisation an inquisitive research mind with fresh pool of ideas and proactive multitasking credentials. Additionally he has expertise in public relations and marketing having worked in the International Marketing office of the Queens University. He is committed to improve the mental health status of the Indian population through his endeavours.
